The Legendary Parkinson's Pickle
This Cinema Therapy class knocks it out of the park—using The Sandlot and the Hero’s Journey to help the Parkinson's community learn to explore, discover and share their legendary stories. It’s about courage, connection, and finding your inner Jet/Cobra. We've had the pleasure of meeting and being endorsed byThe Sandlot Director and Writer, David Mickey Evans, and MLB Hall of Famer, Dave Parker. All funds raised will go to Yes, And...eXercise!, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, to cover students tuition for The Legendary Parkinson's Pickle Cinema Therapy course. We all know our inner Smalls; the one who shrinks from the opportunity to become not only accepted but legendary in his own way. We're going to learn from Smalls, Ham, Jet, Benny, the Babe, the Beast, the Cobra, and so many more about how to rise up and claim what is rightfully our own. This class is open to everyone who loves baseball, The Sandlot, and has a story to tell. Join us!
